Halitube helps famous Chinese rice wine 

Xijiu is a famous Chinese rice wine brand, however, the product has not typically appealed to the younger generation who were not aware of the product. Halitube collaborated with the Xijiu distributor in Nova Scotia to produce an awareness campaign about Xijiu.

 

Design

Building a bridge for the Asian culture is not only between races but also between generations or populations of different habits.

We use the power of digital content, to present, deliver and highlight businesses for our audiences.

Community

Halifax’s relatively young Asian community got a chance to see and learn about this famous rice wine in a unique way.

What We Did


Halitube produced a video and social media campaign on Xijiu

We worked with the distributor to assemble a diverse group of guests for an education and tasting session. We did a presentation on how to drink and enjoy Xijiu and explored some classic cocktails, using Xijiu.

A wide collection of content.

We produced a video of this event featured on our Halitube YouTube channel which targets the young Asian community. The episode showed our audiences how to prep, make, enjoy the drink, and have fun with friends and families after drinking, introducing some classic drinking games.

This was accompanied by one complimentary WeChat article which targets the young demographic on social media. The campaign also included a gift certificate giveaway for purchasing Xijiu.

The Result


Big Response to Xijiu

The campaign produced more than 3100 impressions over WeChat and YouTube channels in the target demographic.

The Xijiu line has also made it to the NSLC - THE PORT for selling and purchasing the product.
