Halitube develops a Nova Scotia export market

Exporting a Nova Scotia wine to China.

Benjamin Bridge is a Nova Scotia winery known for its award-winning Nova 7 sparkling wine. The company wanted to target export markets such as China for its Nova 7 product.

Benjamin Bridge reached out to Halitube to help it produce a specialized branding campaign that would target the Chinese market. Halitube content was produced in Mandarin with Chinese sensibilities built into the content. This assisted sales representatives who were reaching out to Chinese retailers.

 

Design

We understand the needs, shopping habits, and requirements of the Chinese consumers, then we designed this campaign to promote it.

What We Did

Opened up A Mandarin Channel

The Halitube team produced a Halitube video episode, showcasing the winery, a wine-tasting experience, and producing process. Halitube leveraged the content by promoting it with an article on the Chinese social media site WeChat which told the story of Nova 7, Benjamin Bridge and the Nova Scotia wine industry.

Apart from producing content, we have also helped the business build a direct sales line to mainland China.

The Result

A New Market.

With the help of Halitube, Nova 7 found an export market in China and is now one of the most popular Nova Scotia wines in China. Benjamin Bridge received thousands of orders for Nova 7 from Chinese wine distributors. As a result of the exposure, the Nova Scotia winery has become a popular destination for Chinese tourists, including tourists from Canada and China.
